Pet care experience
I have owned 3 dogs in my life, growing up being their primary caregiver i’ve got experience in taking care of puppies, senior dogs, ill or anxious dogs as well. My border collie has bad anxiety so managing that and getting her confidence up was a big part of my life and my old senior dog needed hand fed and nappies bought for her nearer the end and I personally took care of her around my school schedule at the time. I currently have a very flexible schedule, I can be up late or early for your dog any time of the day and week! I have been driving for three years now too so transport for me and your pooch is never an issue. I have a walled garden with a large patch of grass for zoomies and lots of room in the house for exploring or alone time for more shy dogs. Pets are allowed everywhere in the house including my bedroom if your pet is used to sleeping on a human bed! I live in a quiet neighbourhood with very little traffic and many dog lovers in the area so any pets will always be very welcome. I must add that I have a pet parrot as well belonging to my brother, he is kept separately in the house when other dogs are there however he is completely used to dogs and quite enjoys their company and would be in a cage in a separate room.

Annabelle has been amazing with Koda and Max. Even though the place was a mess when she came in the house, she was fine cleaning it up and making sure the dogs were alright!
Pepper was super happy and comfortable with Annabelle and her family. Annabelle kept in touch with updates and photos of Pepper. Pepper will definitely be returning to Annabelle for another visit! Thanks again 😊
Annabelle did a great job with our puppy, and returned her happy and tired. She was very accommodating and quick to reply. I would absolutely recommend her.
Annabelle looked after our greyhound Azula on very short notice, and was absolutely excellent. Communication was clear, she asked all the right questions and made us feel very safe leaving Azula with her for the day. We got pictures of a very spoiled looking dog, and Azula was taken on at least two walks and had a lot of playtime. We'll be booking with Annabelle again if we need daycare in York, and highly recommend her.

I have a walled in yard with grass and many dog toys out there and a hose that my older dog loved to play with. There is many dog blankets and a comfy bed for my older dogs arthritis, my dogs are also allowed anywhere in the house so any other dogs are also welcome to make themselves fully at home. Pets can be crated if that’s your usual method at night but usually I have mine roam free in the house and my room at bed time. Food in the morning, afternoon and evening (depending on your usual feeding schedule) and I can make any dietary adjustments needed

I would love to know of any special needs that your dog may have and I can accommodate eg, my older dog had arthritis so needs help getting round some corners and blankets putting on the floor to help her walk over the hardwood as it makes her nervous. What type of food your pooch likes and what time feeding usually is, what type of temperament is your doggy and how well do they get along with other dogs? Do they do well off the lead or do they have to stay on, is there certain triggers on walks eg cats, birds etc that I should be aware of. How far away are you happy with me travelling for walks?
A typical day
My dogs enjoy big off the lead walks in the fields near my house where they can run around freely and play, there’s a little stream as well they jump in. Other than that we play with the hose outside, they have many toys that we can play with inlcuding enrichment toys like Kong balls with peanut butter in the middle and home-made puzzle treat mats etc. There’s also the knavesmire a 8 minute drive from me with varying places to walk, I frequently took my dogs to knaresborough which is notoriously dog friendly for a fun and different walk.

Availability
At the moment i’m looking for more professional experience working with dogs so I am dedicating all of my time to it. My dogs were my life and my family so they are were very much involved in my daily schedule with walks, play time, meal times, enrichment activities and I would plan my social life around this and try to bring them everywhere I could.
