I have had dogs (and a couple of cats) throughout my entire life. I am a laid back pet owner, but my dogs are very disciplined and know many different commands and words. Most, if not all, dogs and cats warm up to me pretty quickly. I attribute this to how I approach them. I let them come to me on their own terms. This makes for a better, more trustful relationship. I have experience in giving oral medication to both dogs and cats. I helped raise 2 dogs with diabetes. so I am also experienced in giving insulin shots. I have cared for many different rescue dogs as well and know the patience needed to help them adjust to a new home and a better life.
