Pet care experience
I grew up with small and large dogs my entire childhood. My family always had dogs around, and we fostered puppies and kittens several times when I was growing up. I had experience from bottle feeding kittens to helping care for my family’s blind shih tzu. I have experience caring for puppies, training dogs on a leash, and walking high energy dogs several times a day.

This was Charlie's second time staying with Anna, and he was excited to see her and go back to her apartment. Once again, Anna was responsive and flexible. I really appreciated the good care she took of Charlie!
Anna was great with Charlie. She was very responsive and communicative, and flexible when I changed drop-off and pickup times. I would definitely have Anna watch Charlie again!
Anna has kept my senior dog three times now. He always returns healthy and happy. She takes great care of him and sends me updates and photos. I will definitely continue to have my dog stay with her.
Lucky enjoyed his stay with Anna. She was very welcoming and we would definitely ask her to take care of Lucky-pup again.

I live in a studio apartment in Georgetown. It is very quiet in my neighborhood, and there are plenty of parks and walking trails! My apartment is also large enough to have a crate if your dog is crate trained. If you trust me to take care of your pet, I will always send photos of your dog to give you peace of mind while you are away. :)

If your pet is staying at my home, I’ll need to know- do they shed a lot? And do they tend to bark a lot? I’ll need to know if your dog has any special needs, so I can take the best care of your pet! We can discuss this all ahead of time at a meet and greet.
A typical day
My favorite parks in my neighborhood are Mitchell Park in Kalorama and Rose Park in Georgetown, both of which I have taken other dogs to. I live a short distance from the waterfront where I love to walk as well.
