Reviews
Once again Anna took wonderful care of our pups and our home. We look forward to having her back again soon!
Anna is a wonderful sitter. She asked great questions before her stay to ensure she understood our pups’ routines in detail. While we were away, she struck a nice balance between keeping us in the loop with photos and updates while being respectful of our time on vacation. We came home to two very happy pups. We look forward to having her house sit for us again in the future!
Anna stayed at my house while I was overseas for the week and took excellent care of my small dog. She provided daily updates and photos and I left with confidence knowing my baby was in good hands. I would definitely recommend Anna and will use her again!!
Anna was considerate of our dogs’ needs and schedule. We came home to tired, relaxed dogs. Would definitely use her again!

Safety, trust & environment
All first time clients receive a free meet and greet. This session usually takes anywhere from 30-60 minutes. It’s an opportunity to get to know me and discuss our goals as a team for your home and animal care experience. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I require this be completed prior to finalizing your first booking. Meet and greets typically available on Weeknights between 4PM and 6PM. I believe in the golden rule - I treat your property and family like I would desire my property and family to be treated - with loving kindness and respect. All visits/stays can include, if you desire, the following at no additional charge: Feeding/water change/wellness check on up to 3 small caged pets (rats, mice, gerbils, hamsters, hedgehogs, chinchillas, snakes etc). Putting out/bringing in trash / recycle bins Indoor plant watering (per your instructions) Taking in/signing for mail and packages (up to 25lbs) In addition to the Rover Guarantee, I am Insured and Bonded through PCI, underwritten by Lloyds of London. Proof of Insurance available upon request. My insurance does not cover activities not directly related to animal care. For that reason, I am unable to provide exterior maintenance like lawn care and snow removal. If I am parked out doors in the winter time, I will shovel as much as is necessary for me to be able to get into my car and leave the property safely, but if you need more than that completed while you are away, please be prepared to make arrangements with another service provider.
Information Anna S. would like to know about your pet
I am eager to learn about your pet's likes, dislikes, sensitivities, allergies, and triggers. What, if anything, makes them insecure and defensive? Where do they hide when they are sick or sad? What brings them comfort?
A typical day
My full time employment is about 75% remote, meaning I can work from anywhere I have an internet connection. 3 days per week (usually Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) I do have to be on site for 2-4 hours per day. On these days I normally leave my clients homes between 6 and 7am and return no later than 10am. Outside of those away working hours, I alter my schedule to be at your home and available for bathroom cares, play time, feeding, medication administration, and lots of love and cuddles. I do often leave for an hour or two in the evening to run quick errands, but I minimize that, especially on days when I leave the property for work. I also "pack in and pack out" - meaning I bring all my own food, beverages, towels, and personal care products. I do use my clients spices and pantry items from time to time, but I often bring some of my own as well. I remove my own garbage and recycling prior to departure, as well as tidy up the house. All you really should ever need to clean up after my being there is washing of any linens you own that I may have used.

Availability
When I am booked for overnight/live in cares, I prioritize my availability to be at your home as much as possible. I may have to leave for a few hours here or there but my philosophy is your home and babies are #1 and I can't live up to that if I am not physically present.
