Pet care experience
I love caring for dogs, and having them stay with me. I truly will love your pets as if they were my own. I’ve been pet sitting for the past 5 years. I've had experience having dogs for the past 16 years, growing up my family had two small dogs. One of my dogs had puppies twice, I have a lot of experience caring for puppies and younger dogs. I’m used to caring for more protective and anxious dogs that don't do as well around new people or other dogs, I will always make sure your dog is safe and comfortable. I also have experience with senior dogs and am comfortable administering oral and injection medication.

This was Stanley’s first stay with Anna and Ethan and they were great. We had a meet and greet a few weeks before the stay and they ask all the important questions. During his stay Stanley was well taken care of.
Anna was fantastic! I got a daily update and she was super understanding that my pups were nervous nellies! Ironically when I picked them up one of them wandered away from the car and I found her at their door. I guess she wasn’t ready to leave yet.

I live in a duplex, that has a large un-fenced yard. If your dog needs to be left in a crate when alone I have a large crate they are welcome to use or you can bring your own. I have plenty of dog bowls and beds around to make your pet comfortable. My pet style is that dogs are like humans and get free reign of couches and bed. If your dog is staying with me they will get lots of love and care. My boyfriend as well also loves having animals around. In your house I am always very careful to leave things as clean or cleaner than I left them. I make sure to lock and secure the place before leaving. For housesitting services I will also bring in the mail, water plants and put garbages out.

Please let me know your dogs’ energy level and how they do being left alone. Because I live in a duplex I can't take dogs that bark excessively. I don't require dogs to be crate trained, as long as they are not destructive. The more information you can give me the better. I am happy to follow any rules you have and work on training, just let me know. I do require a meet and greet with all new clients to make sure they are a good fit.
A typical day
If your dog stays with me, they will get 3 or more potty break walks a day, with at least one usually more a longer 30+ minute walk. I enjoy going to nearby parks with the dogs I watch. And if they're comfortable with other dogs we make frequent trips to the dog park. I also really enjoy hiking, and would love to bring your dog along. If your dog is older or less active, I'm also happy to just chill around the house with them as well.

Availability
Currently I work full-time away from home. The days and hours I work are variable and change week to week, I sometimes work evenings and weekends. Because of this unfortunately I can't typically take dogs that can't be left alone for 8 hours at a time. I will though always make sure your pet gets plenty of exercise and attention when I'm home.
