About Us: Anna and Rob are back from a hiatus, and we're more excited than ever to shower your furry family members with love and care! As a fun, warm-hearted, and responsible couple with flexible work-from-home schedules, we're committed to making your pup feel like part of our family. In the past, as certified AARCS fosters, we've opened our home to a diverse bunch of dogs - tiny to giant, young to old, and every breed in between - each with their own unique personalities, health, and training needs. With over 25 years of combined experience, we're here to ensure your dog feels right at home, gets plenty of exercise, and has a blast while staying with us About Anna: Anna (she/her) works as a Capacity Building Associate at the Calgary Foundation, where she applies her expertise in systems thinking and social entrepreneurship to strengthen organizations and sectors through collaboration, convening, and facilitation. With over 10 years of experience at the crossroads of community and academia, Anna has developed social innovation, leadership, and systems-focused learning programs for students and community members at local, national, and global levels. Her roles have included positions with Mount Royal University's Institute for Community Prosperity, Ashoka Canada, and the University of Oxford's Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship. Anna holds a degree in Social Innovation and Nonprofit Management from Mount Royal University and co-founded Fresh Routes, an award-winning nonprofit social enterprise that promotes dignified food access in Calgary. About Rob: Rob Ironside (he/him) is a Calgary-based social entrepreneur and environmental engineer, currently serving as the Director of Acceleration Programs at the League of Innovators. After earning his degree from Dalhousie University, Rob dove into the start-up scene in Calgary, leading a zero-waste planning and service company focused on large-scale events. Alongside Anna, Rob is a proud co-founder of Fresh Routes, an award-winning nonprofit social enterprise that promotes dignified food access in Calgary. Over the course of his career, Rob has been a board member for Engineers Without Borders Canada, worked with a start-up social enterprise in Zambia, and regularly shares his insights at events and conferences.
