I have been told that I am trusworthy, honest responsible and caring. This, combined with my love for animals and the connections I get to have with them makes this a very enjoyable opportunity. I have a 9lb terrier mix that is now 6 years old and has been by my side since she was 8 weeks old. I immediately began training her and she has been such a great communicator when she is in need of something. She even let's me know when she needs a bath if it is out of the ordinary bathing time. I have had the opportunity to be a loving sitter/walker to several different dogs over the years and all different breeds. I have regularly been in complete care of a pitt bull, a pomeranian, a french bulldog, a terrier, a couple of mini pincher, a chihuahua, a couple of Australian Vizslas, a pugg, a maltese and a pomeranian mix. Sometimes for daily walks and visits, sometimes for weekends, sometimes for weeks at a time. Gemma, the pitbull was with me for 3 months once because she seemed miserable during the New York winter . When she and Cali met they became best friends. I believe that having a sense of direction with training gives them an avenue to communicate with us, therefore giving them a sense of peace as well. AQ
