Pet care experience
I am a long time dog owner and my family currently has 1 german shepherd and 1 Saint Bernard mix (they are not at my apartment though so your dog will be the only dog!). I am excited to treat your dog like my own! I have experience with many breeds from walking dogs, dog sitting, and volunteering at 2 animal shelters. I love running and hiking and would be happy to do either with your dog as well! I am familiar with several local parks and hiking trails and would be happy to take your dog to one or to just hang out with your dog at home while you are away. I also have experience caring for cats (~2 years of fostering) and I have a very friendly cat at my apartment who loves dogs!

Availability
I am a recent law school graduate who just moved to Brooklyn from Washington, DC! In DC, I had much more flexibility to dogsit, but now I will be starting a full time job in September, so I will be out of the house workday hours (8:30-5:30ish M-F). I am happy to walk/drop in on your dog before or after work and dogsit on weekends though! I am also available to check in on cats. During the week, I am happy to do house sitting but please note your pet will be alone for those work hours.
