Pet care experience
I grew up a military kid, which means I have taken care of friends and families dogs,cats, puppies,kittens, farm animals,birds,fish, reptiles (you name it!) while they were on deployments or vacation, for many years. Personally, I have taken care of my own cats since I have been a kid, and I have had my own dog (Dexter) for about 5 years. I am also experienced with giving intravenous medication and pills to cats as well as dogs. I would love to meet and take care of your pet or pets!

If your pet or pets stay with me they will find two friends already living here (Dexter and Toshi my dog and cat). Dexter and Toshi like and get along with other dogs and cats. I also have areas of the house quartered off with baby gates and all my rooms are doggie/kitty proofed. I also have a spare room just for visiting pets if they need to have their own room. I do this so that if you wanted, your pet would have their own personal space if they are staying with us for day care or boarding, as well as if you would like for me to keep my pets separate from yours. Happy to talk more about how to make a comfortable and taylored experience for your pet while they stay with me and make it feel like home as much as possible! I also have a big fenced in back yard for doggies to play in!:)
Information Anna M. would like to know about your pet
When we are meeting for the first time, I would like to have a meet and greet and generally I like to know the following information: if your dog gets along with other dogs, if they are attentive to specific commands, if they are food motivated (like treats on walks!), If they have any triggers that would upset them on a walk (for example, they do not like loud noises/other dogs or breeds of dogs)/if they take-need any medication and if they are allergic to anything. Scheduling a walk with me includes a meet and greet with you and your furry friend before our first visit/walk so that we can get to know each other:)!
A typical day
I love taking my dog for hikes in the area on the weekends, playing fetch/catch/running at the dog park. I would love to do any of these with you furry friend!

Availability
I have a very flexible schedule and I am around most of the day, so can give a lot of attention to your pet or pets if they stay with me. I can walk/drop in/offer doggie day care and boarding any day of the week. If you book me during a holiday, I will be available anytime of the day unless my calendar is blocked off.
