I live in downtown Oklahoma City. I am a native Oklahoman and an OU alum. I have always loved dogs and am passionate about animal welfare. I lost my beloved 14 year old male cairn terrier to cancer a few years ago. I recently moved back to Oklahoma City after going back to school for a 2nd degree. I would love to have another dog of my own in the future. In the meantime, I would like to dog sit for people who live in the Oklahoma City metro area. The apartment complex I live in is safe and dog-friendly. My schedule and availability are flexible. I understand the importance of providing dogs with the best quality of care - which includes proper nutrition and exercise. I will pay special attention to the specific needs of your dog. I am also very good about responding quickly to text messages or emails and sending daily updates. All of my clients have received photo updates, both through the Rover app and privately. Zeph recognized and was excited to see his sitter after just one meet and greet a couple of weeks before which gave me confidence that they were a good fit. It turned out that I was the only anxious one in leaving him 24 hrs for the first time. He was calm and relaxed like I had never left so I knew he had been well cared for. We have found his "pampered" sleepover place. Thank you Anna for all the ways you cared for him.
Once again, Anna did a fantastic job. She sent tons of pictures and our pets were happy when we came home. I would for sure hire her again.
Great experience! Updated each day with photos, took my dog on walks. Would definitely use Anna again! Highly recommend!

Please give me enough information about your dog so I can provide him or her with the best care possible. Does your dog take medications or have medical issues? What are your dog's likes and dislikes? What activities stimulate your dog, both physically and mentally? How do you reward good behavior? What do you usually do when your dog misbehaves? Is your dog allergic to anything? Are there any training techniques or commands you would like for me to use? What is your dog's basic daily routine (feeding/bathroom/sleeping habits, walk schedule, etc.)? Is your dog up to date on vaccinations? Are there any quirks I should be aware of? How does your dog handle being around other dogs and people?
A typical day
I love going on walks around the downtown area, so if your dog enjoys being outdoors I will make sure they get plenty of exercise. There are also a few dog parks nearby that we can visit.

Availability
I have a full time job four days a week (10am-8pm Sunday - Wednesday) but I will have plenty of time to spend with your dog on my days off (Thursday - Saturday). I spend my time at home when I'm not at work.
