I've started diffusing therapeutic grade essential oils by Young Living for dogs and cats to keep them calm during their time with me. All the pet care experience for the past 4 years comes from pet sitting and house sitting for faculty members at the University of Miami's Rosentiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences. My husband and I live in the same apartment and we both take care of the pets. We've taken dogs to the park to run, chilling on the beach or even for a car ride on a bi weekly basis on top of at least 2 daily walks - unless if they're on medication and are not allowed to. We're easy to work with, just present me of to-do and not to-do lists and it will be heeded. Dogs we've had experience with are Schnauzers, Poodles, French Bulldogs, Labrador Retrievers, Jack Russells and several other mixed breeds. As for cat-sitting, we enjoy playing laser pointers with the cats and have them be entertained. For house-sitting, we have stayed in the property to turn the lights on and off, take the recyclables and the trash out on the recommended days. If you have indoor or outdoor plants, we'll be your gardener. For the price you pay, you get a husband and wife combo that will keep your pets entertained and a solo pet sitting service. I work full time from home, mostly writing my dissertation and running our home-based small business. So, I have time to watch your pets from the comfort of my apartment, your home, or even walk them at your specific hours. I will have you provide me your pet's daily routine, and I will get as close to it as possible to reduce the anxiety and stress your pet may have when you're away. Almost all pets love a routine, so sticking as closely as possible to that routine is what I find best for any happy pet.
