I am now booking drop-ins and walks! I love pets of all kinds! I work from home, so I have availability during the day, as well as afternoons, evenings and weekends. I've been dog sitting and walking for eight years now and I grew up with dogs in the home- small and large, so I'm comfortable around all types of pups. I've been on Rover for almost four years and have plenty of experience navigating the app and many different pet parent needs. Spending time with animals is one of the most rewarding parts of my day. Through Rover, I have also been lucky enough to cat-sit, parrot-sit, and I even got to hang out with a bearded dragon for a week! I am happy to modify services for cat sitting and drop ins. I love to make sure your pet is happy and healthy, and I love to spend time with them. If your dog likes to run, I'm currently training for a marathon, and happy to give them some exercise through running together. I have a fondness for adult/senior dogs and am happy to be accommodating to any special requests they might need. I have dog sat older dogs who need some special attention including giving them medicine, something I'm happy to do and feel comfortable with. I also occasionally foster through One Tail at a Time PDX, which is a great nonprofit in Portland, and adopted my own rescue in 2019. My dream is to one day open up a senior dog sanctuary for adult and senior dogs that need foster care. For now, I am happy to work around your schedule and make sure your best friend is cared for! ***Currently only overnight sitting in your home on a case by case basis, I have my own dog now and would need to figure out the details on that! She has dogsat with me in the past but I know not everyone's pup is ready for that!*** I work from home full-time in the Cully neighborhood with an extremely flexible schedule. I'm happy to do early morning walks, evening and even during the day! After years of persisting, I'm incredibly prepared to handle any situation- from puppies to elderly dogs. My own rescue has given me plenty of practice working on behavior issues and I have a fondness for reactive dogs and I ALWAYS practice force-free training. I'm also experienced administering medication via pills and syringe.
