Pet care experience
Since I was a little girl I’ve always loved and been drawn to animals. As a five-year-old, my dream was to have an apartment building filled with homeless cats (that was before I knew what a rescue was). I chased after a new version of my dream and from July 2020 to August 2022 I worked as a veterinary assistant at a local hospital. That was after I graduated from Skagit Valley College summer of 2019 receiving a certificate in Veterinary Assisting. My education and previous work experience make me knowledgeable in cat/dog first aid, administering medications, and caring for seniors or for animals on restricted activity. I have previous experience pet sitting for my friends and family but I’m always looking for more. I’ve looked after both cats and dogs, big and small as well as a couple of pocket pets and a lizard. I have two cats and a bearded dragon of my own. I have reliable transportation as well as a clean driving record along with being a responsible adult in my early thirties. Rover is a perfect excuse for me to get out of my house and love on your fur babies!

Anna is amazing! She was very accommodating and kind. I never worried about my little dog’s safety because she provided me with some great pictures and updates. I let her know my pup’s nails were a bit long and asked if she could possibly help clip them. Anna came over on short notice and clipped his nails with no issue. She is so wonderful and I would be so grateful to book with her again!
Our first time having Anna watch our two fur babies was a success! She stayed in contact with us throughout her stay and she sent photos along the way. Our house looked tidy upon our return home, and most importantly, our doggies were happy! We will definitely book with Anna in the future.
Once again Anna provided great care for our cats. It is always so hard for me to leave them but I know they are in good hands. Anna always lets me know if their are issues or concerns . Anna goes above and beyond for us. Bringing in garbage and packages. Cleaning up cat vomit / messes and making sure everything is tidy. Thanks again Anna you make it possible for us to go on vacation.
Anna did a fabulous job of taking care of our dog and cat. She took our dog for long walks and spoiled him with lots of attention. Our home was perfect when we returned.She also sent me text messages 3 times a day letting me know how our dog and cat were doing. I would definitely use Anna again. Thanks, Anna.

I would prefer to care for your pets in your home as it does tend to be less stressful for pets. Although on a case-by-case basis, I do offer doggy daycare and boarding. I’m always happy to take your pup to a park, trails, lake, or even a drive. And as for your cat, my lap is warm and ready for cuddles. When you book, please notify me of all the pets in your home, and have a separate profile for each of your pets so I am able to provide the best care possible for each and every one. Unless stated or agreed upon otherwise, my rates are per pet.

Let me know if there are certain situations i.e. being over-stimulated at dog parks, reactive to cars/bikes/etc. or people such as small children that make your pup uncomfortable. Also please let me know if your dog has a high prey drive.
A typical day
One of my favorite places to go and have your dog sniff around is Boulevard Park. Paws for a Beer is also one of the places I really enjoy going as it gives your pet a chance to interact and play with other dogs.

Availability
I am currently attending school at Bellingham Technical College to eventually be a Licensed Veterinary Technician. But my school schedule allows me the availability for dog walking, check-ins, and even overnight stays, case-by-case doggy daycare, and boarding.
