Pet care experience
I’ve been in love with animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up in the military, I was never able to have my own dog, so I became the neighborhood dog walker/trainer! I loved spending time with all different kinds of dogs, and finally in 7th grade, I got my first dog! After that, my love for dogs and training grew even more! Fast forward to today, I still have that same passion for dogs, and I absolutely love training and taking my English Cream Golden Retriever, Moose, on lots of adventures! He is currently a certified therapy dog (who I trained myself), and we enjoy spending our time spreading love to the Fort Riley/Manhattan community! I have lots of experience training dogs of all shapes and sizes, and I provide lots of structure and mental/physical stimulation throughout each day to keep your dog happy, healthy, and safe.
Reviews
Super outgoing and friendly! Goes above the norm to ensure everything is taken care of! She’s responsible and constantly keeps you updated with pics. Would recommend!
Anna’s extremely reliable and my go-to dog walker for my pup Emiko. She’s always flexible with her schedule and I trust her with my dog. I’d say Anna has plenty of experience with a variety of large/small dogs and has great patience for dogs with special needs too. Overall, I think Anna would be a great asset for Rover.

I have a very structured home, but your dog is allowed to relax anywhere they feel comfortable. We have lots of cozy spaces to relax in, as well as hardwood floor to cool off! My house is set up with dogs in mind, and my main goal is to make them as comfortable as possible! I also have a toy chest full of toys that my dog is willing to share and play with. I have a medium sized yard (that is not fenced in), I do multiple walks a day, and also take your dog potty on a leash as much as they need. I will NOT take your dog to the dog park, because I do not take mine. Too many accidents happen there, and your dogs safety is my #1 concern. For exercise, depending on the stamina of your dog, walks in the morning and evening, and a short one mid-afternoon is what I find to be the perfect combination!
Home
Information Anna H. would like to know about your pet
Before your dog comes to stay with me I’d love to know what their daily routine is like, their feeding schedule, if they need any special assistance or medication, if they have any triggers (ex. cat aggression), what they love and do not love, and anything and everything else you are willing to share!
A typical day
The typical day in my house usually begins around 8am with an early morning walk/potty, then breakfast! After breakfast, depending on your dogs energy level, we will go on another walk/adventure. Once the afternoon hits, it is usually nap time around here. Once nap time is over I usually provide another form of physical stimulation or mental stimulation if it’s raining. Once evening rolls around dinner time is given, and after stomachs settle, we go on an evening walk. Before bedtime, we do a quick training session, or mental stimulation toy to help wind down. Depending on where your dog is used to sleeping at home, will be the same at my house!

Availability
During the school year, I am a substitute teacher with very flexible hours. With my free time, I usually spend it with my dog Moose either on an adventure or doing therapy work. When your dog is in my care, I will be with them almost 100% of the time.
