I have been a cat owner and a cat lover for over 10 years. Also have been a dog owner for 2 years now. My dog wasn't trained when I got him, so I had to fully immerse myself into the dog world - since I had to train him, teach him, get to know him, and now I am able to basically read his mind. We are the closest friends ever. Since I've had my dog, I had to use Rover sitters quite a few times and I had realized how important this service is to pet owners. Unlike cats, dogs need constant attention and care, and I can provide your pets with anything they need - love, care, and attention. So when I don't need a sitter for my dog, I can be a sitter for your dog and help to make your life easier. I am currently at home full-time, so your pet will not be left alone or bored. They will always be looked after, happy, and occupied with activities. Your pup will be able to play with my dog in the backyard, go out for long walks around the neighborhood that I love and also hike. My dog is very playful and loves having canine companions to spend time with. I don't have much time to take him to the dog park on a regular basis, so having another doggie in our house would be great for my pup too. It is a win-win situation.

I do have a cat that is ok around dogs. But if your pup isn't ok with cats, no worries - the cat would move downstairs that he enjoys - all he cares about is food and naps. I have a fenced yard and my dog who loves having canine friends over. He loves to play and he adjusts to every dog's playing style. I always send many pictures because I believe it is important for you as dog parents. You will be able to see how your dog spends time and what activities they are engaged in.

A typical day
We live quite close to the mountains, so we go hiking basically every week. My dog loves hiking those trails because there are always lots of smells, sounds, and of course, deer poop haha. When we don't go hiking, we do walks around the neighborhood. Lots of smells, other dog paw prints to check out, and other stimulations.

Availability
I am working at home most of the time, so your pup will be watched and well taken care of. I take long walks around the neighborhood in the morning/evening. During the day pups can play in the backyard or inside. We love to hike, so if your dog loves hiking, we will definitely do some hiking. If your dog is either older or doesn't require so much exercise, we will be doing shorter walks.
