Dogs are my life. I live with, volunteer with, and practically depend on my dogs. I bought my own house and like to earn a little extra by doing something I love. I enjoy dog sitting as it gives me a chance to experience many different dog breeds, temperaments, and personalities. I cant own a hundred dogs so I barrow everyone else's when I get a chance! I haven't met a dog breed I don't like yet, I love the old or young, the playful or lazy, the healthy and those with special needs. I have a lot of experience with dogs that are deaf, blind, or mobility impaired. I have had a blind golden, a deaf Maltese mix and a golden with three legs and I adore and see to all there special needs. I want to be able to provide a home away from home for all types of dogs. I have several couches and plenty of blankets and beds for the sleepy ones to share with my dash hound mix Roo, a long fenced in back yard with an eager Corgi named Denver, who is always ready for a good run and play with a friend. There is also a second barrier to my front and back doors, a screened porch in front and a mud room that leads to the fenced backyard to prevent any escapes. For dogs that might be a bit nervous away from home I use lavender oils and chamomile to sooth the nerves and for those who might be a bit crabby or prefer there own space when away from home, I have the 'Doggie Guest Suite', which is a bedroom I keep ready just for dogs who spend the night. There is a large crate in case you crate your dog, this way you don't need to lug their crate around. There is also ac in the room and a couch and tv for company and comfort. I also happen to be a volunteer obedience trainer (puppy and basic obedience) and would love to help you out or offer any suggestions if that is something your looking for. Ultimately yes I would like to earn a little extra to pay some bills but my goal is to love and enjoy the animals we share this earth with and provide them with the best possible and safest environment when there families have to leave them for a time. I Require: •Up to date shots (on your honor) • A buckle collar with ID tag on each dog (even if microchipped) • There own food that they are used to, to prevent upset stomachs. I am currently working part time so I will have plenty of time to spend with your pups. I currently work from 8-4pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I have a fenced in yard for plenty of running and playing and two friendly dogs who are ready and willing for a good play or snooze. So your dog will have plenty of company. Or if you like I have a crate available when I am at work.
