Your pets are my priority when they're under my care. I'll take your dogs to on meandering walks or to the dog park, give your pets great scritches, and keep them company when they're missing you. I have loved animals my entire life and have always had pets of some kind. Although I never had a dog until I was 12, I had already taken care of friends' and neighbors' dogs while they were were away on vacation. I instantly connect with animals and really try to understand their behavior. I'm not just great with dogs and cats, either; whether it has fur, feathers, fins, scales, or exoskeleton, I'll be more than eager to care for it. Getting to know other species' behavior and needs is exciting and fascinating, so I'd love to branch out! Through the years I've honestly lost track of how many times anyone has called me a (dog, cat, bug, whatever)-whisperer. I additionally have worked on and off as a volunteer at the Academy of Natural Sciences from around 2012 to 2017, where my manager once described my love for animals as "David Attenborough-esque". Through my work there, I gained experience taking care of rodents, invertebrates, and reptiles, and even won an award for Excellence in Animal Care in 2014. Currently, I live in Southeast Philadelphia/Bella Vista area with my partner Adam, my cats Twig & Luigi, and a few arachnids. Adam takes care of our pets when I am on overnight housesitting stays. Between 2016 and 2018 I took care of pets as my main form of income, looking after dogs of all ages and sizes.
