Pet care experience
I'm adaptable and attentive to each pet I meet. In fact, I've pet sit in 3 US States and 2 foreign countries! I grew up with several different breeds and have pet sit even more. I've previously pet sit (and walked!) for an old Maltese, young Jack Terrier, two large Huskies, a temperamental dachshund, an energetic German Shepherd, and many different cats. I also cared for my own Rhodesian Ridgeback for 8 years, and am now raising a 3-month old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel! From both my personal and professional experience with pet sitting dogs, I understand the feelings of uncertainty and trust that comes with handing your furry buddy over to a stranger for care. Rest assured, I will treat your pet with the same high levels of attentiveness, love, and care as if they were my own. I can handle it all– from cleaning up messes or spending hours playing to ensuring your loved one does not bolt after a rabbit or squirrel. And if your pet is in need of a well-deserved stretch, I am ready to walk or run miles!

I’m interested in knowing if your dog has any health complications that limit their ability to do any normal functions, prohibit them from engaging in specific activities, or require special care. In addition- I want to know about their personality that triggers certain behaviors! Whether they don’t like other dogs, kids, delivery personnel, or more- knowing this info ensures I can be prepared to navigate the world with them better.
A typical day
Any dog I watch will be treated as my own. In the absence of a routine I tend to take dogs out for two walks a day- one that is brisk, long, and gets their heart pumping, and one that is slow, meandering, and let’s them stop to stare and sniff.

As a remote worker- pet sitting is very easy to fit into my normal routine. While I do work relatively within the bounds of a 9-5 I can be flexible with breaks I take to provide care.
