I have been working with dozens of pets and repeat clients on rover for a while now and it has been wonderful! Before Rover, I volunteered at mighty mutts, a non profit animal shelter for 2 years. I love working with all animals and have dog-sat, cat-sat, and bunny-sat privately for the past few years. I’ve taken care of over a dozen cats with varying personalities at a cat shelter for years as well. I’ve grown up with and taken care of multiple different animals all my life (Great Danes, rescue cats, ducks, bunnies, geese, a poodle, mice, guinea pigs) and I am a pet owner myself so I know how much we care about our furry family members. I’ve also professionally nannied children and walked their dogs for private employers in the past. I also have extensive experience regularly administering pills to cats and dogs who i have sat for in the past and every day because I have a special needs pet myself. I would love to take care of your pet and allow you to be away assured that your pet is being expertly taken care of! I am available for pet care quite often! Most evenings and during the day every day of the week other than Wednesdays I will be available. I can house sit full time if you’re pet is okay being alone while I’m away for the day on Wednesdays. I have room in my apartment for a small dog crate or cat beds and litter box etc. I’ve had many happy longer term stays for small/medium sized dogs and several cats. I have found that pets are often happier in their own home spaces but I am willing to work with what you need and find out if staying at my home is the right fit for your pet! I give plenty of attention and love and playtime for them wherever they stay.
