I wish I had a dog!
Pet care experience
Until I adopt again I’d love to get to know yours. I grew up with dogs and cats. I live in a house located a block from large connecting parks and feel it a waste not to share with a furry friend.

This is the second time Frankie has stayed with Anna. Anna sent tons of pictures and took her for walks at the beach almost every day! I highly recommend Anna to anyone.

Anna did a nice job of taking care of my dog Coco while I was out of town for about a week. She sent me a lot of pictures and videos and returned all of Coco’s stuff clean and in order. She seems to really enjoy hosting dogs!
I booked this stay less than 24 hours due to a family emergency. I'm so glad I found Anna. We video chatted and texted to get to know each other. I knew she was the right sitter and booked her right away. She is very responsive and shares daily photos/videos/updates. I could tell her and her family gave my dog lots of love. She went out of her way to wash my dog's diaper and food bowl. I will definitely book her again when I'm out of town. She's a sweet girl who loves dogs.

I grew up with Shetland sheepdogs. I have a understanding of dogs with special needs having help nursed two rescues. I understand puppy care, especially the importance of reinforcing training and commands. Growing up with rescues I can understand a dogs sensitivity to new people and dogs. I am willing to work with your dogs’ education and growth.

Do they have any separation anxiety? Have they been apart from you? Is there anything your dog reacts to? (other dogs, bikes, etc) Where do they typically sleep at home? Please note: I do not watch cats or houses with cats.
A typical day
I'd love to take your dog around the neighborhood, the park a block away and beach less than 10 min away. Currently WFH so I try to get at least 10,000 steps a day (~6 miles). I typically try to get 30min-1 hour daily exercise. I really enjoy playing fetch with dogs.

Availability
I believe in positive reinforcement only, and ignoring negative behaviors (unless dangerous/time sensitive) as any response can be misread by dogs as reinforcements of behavior. There are no bad dogs, only inexperienced trainers.
