Pet care experience
I am a South Tampa resident with a cat of my own and a few reptiles. University of Tampa Alumni and currently an art teacher. I enjoy cooking, food, kayaking, and a good murder mystery audiobook or podcast. I love all animals, especially cats and dogs. Having pets myself, I understand the stress and anxiety you go through when you are not home wondering if they are okay. That’s why when I go away, I like to know my pets are in good hands with people I know and trust. I will deliver no less than what I would expect from someone caring for my animals. I have pet sat dogs, cats, fish, chickens and other animals for friends and family my whole life. If you are looking for someone to care for for your pet, I would like the opportunity to be that person. I will certainly care for cats and dogs, as well as other animals such as reptiles, birds, etc. My top priority is pet safety and assurance for the pet owner. We asked Anna to pet sit our cats. We were gone for 3 days. We left out instructions and food. She did a wonderful job! She followed all of the instructions , even the silly ones and even sent us pictures of our fur babies. If she had any concerns about the kids she would message us. For instance one of our cats gets lonely and meows and gets a little mad at new people being in her territory, Anna messaged us and we reassured her that our cat is just a drama queen. She made sure everything was all taken care by the time we got home and I felt very safe letting her into our home.
First of all, Anna is so wonderful. She is caring, sweet, a great friend... and loves animals! It is obvious that she loves and takes the absolute best care for her own pets, but really she adores any animal that crosses her path. I have two cats, and on numerous occasions, my husband and I have entrusted our cats with her for several days at a time while out of town, knowing that they will be loved just as if they were with us. Anna went out of her way to trim one of my cats nails, with permission of course, and had no trouble at all - this is something I have not yet mastered with my cat! She even asks about them frequently and always gives them lots of attention when over at the house. Anna is the best person anyone could have to watch your pet. She is loving, responsible and will watch them as if they are her own.
Anna was an exceptional pet sitter to my slightly spoiled extremely picky female cat. My cat is exacting with proper food preparation and the litter box must be kept clean lest she use an alternative surface in the home. But upon our homecoming we found her well fed, happy and we discovered no accidents. Anna kept me updated on each visit even managing to assist with watering my many houseplants! I would highly recommend Anna for pet care!
Anna pet sat at my house for my two dogs, Tyke and Kai, an American Eskimo and Lab, while I went on vacation for a week. She sent me pictures and updates of them every day and they were happy. Plus my house was in great shape when I got back. I could tell Anna loves animals and the dogs loved her. Liz B.
