Recently, my mom moved to Texas to be closer to my brother and his little girl, and my partner travels a lot for work. I currently work part time from home, so I have a lot of free time and I'd love to spend it with your cute pups! ***When your dog stays with me*** : - I have a large backyard, where they can play as much as they want to! - I send updates with pictures once or twice a day (or more if you'd like!) - They have potty breaks every 2 hours or so. - I pay close attention their needs and personalities to make sure they are comfortable and happy while in my home. I like to think of it as a doggie vacation for them, so I tailor the day for what it seems like the dog enjoys best! My only request: please bring your furbaby clean, as this is my home 🙏🖤 I don't expect you to have them freshly professionally groomed, but a basic amount of hygiene is expected. I have no problem with the normal amount of cleaning that comes with hosting a pet, but I've had a couple of bad experiences where people brought their pups matted, visibly dirty, and smelly. Although I do cover all my sofas with blankets during the stay and wash / wet vac eveything as needed between visits as a part of the total stay price, if your pup is excessively dirty, I will have to charge an additional cleaning fee.

Saftey is my top priority: Although I have a fully fenced in yard, I don't ever leave them outside alone. I'm always with them the whole time just in case. If requested, I will take the dogs on walks, but otherwise we only run around in the back for excercise, as to avoid getting off the leash and running off. I also make sure they always have plenty of fresh water (both outside and in), and that they don't stay outside too long on the extra hot days!

Let me know about any medications, food needs, or other requirements your pup has! I'll be happy to accommodate and to stick to your schedule and instructions. The main thing: I don't personally have a pup (just the kitty), but please let me know if you have an insecure or aggressive-with-others dog. Sometimes, especially during the holiday season, I'll have several puppers coming and going with overlapping dates. I will always be upfront if I have other pups staying with me, and I will confirm with all parties involved that we have an acceptable situation. However, if you require your pet to be hosted alone, please let me know!
A typical day
Generally, the typical day starts when we wake up and go outside first thing! As I drink my coffee, they get to spend as much time as they need. Then they'll get breakfast and we can play a bit. After that, we can go outside as often as they need and play as much or as little as they want. In between, I have a bird feeder right outside the living room window where they can watch the squirrels clean me out of the expensive bird seed I bought, so perfect pup tv! I'll give them treats and dinner according to your instructions, and of course cuddle all afternoon and evening on the couch inbetween play time.

How it started in 2018 when I first made this profile: "For the past two years, I've been living back at home so I can take care of my mom (she was sick, but is doing much better now). During much of this time, I was also taking care of Sam, my brother's German Shepard. Sam was pretty much my whole world and I fell in love with him. A few months ago, I gave Sam back to my brother, and I now have a huge dog sized hole in my heart. Since I've found myself with some free time (and deep seeded need for dog love), I've decided to open up my home to any good boys and girls who need a sitter! 🖤" My personal experience has mostly been with large dogs. Besides my brother's sweet aforementioned German Shepard, I grew up with 2 Great Danes, so I am comfortable with dogs of any size. And, I do not discriminate against breeds. I love pitbulls. <3 I do have a cat but I keep a dog gate up between the two sides of the house, so my cat can hang out peacefully in the back of the house, if needed!

Anna was great ☺️ she sent several updates throughout Theo’s stay and took some of the cutest pictures! She even made sure it was okay with me to host another dog while Theo was there, I really appreciate that! Thankful for her patience with my boy! I would definitely use her again for any future boarding 🐶
