Truly a dog person
Pet care experience
I grew up having a dog and several cats and actually got my own pup in 2015. Since then he's become my best friend. We enjoy long walks, hiking, and occasional runs together. If your dog stays with me he/she would get the same amount of attention and exercise! My fiance and I recently moved into a townhouse with a deck so your dog could enjoy sitting outside and smelling all the smells as well. I understand the responsibility of having a pet and know that we can't always be at home when our furry friends need to go out, be fed, or have attention. Therefore, I hope you allow me to help out when you need it! I am responsible and have a soft spot in my heart for animals.

Anna took great care of Hannah, puppy issues and all. We're grateful she was so accommodating to allow us a much-needed evening out. The fact that Hannah got along so well with Anna's pup was a wonderful bonus.
Anna stepped in to walk our corgi on a day where we were leaving for vacation in the morning but our house sitter wasn't able to come until the evening. She made an extra trip to come meet us in advance, which I really appreciated. On the day-of, she sent us update photos and was professional, flexible, kind, prompt, and really sweet to our pup. As it turned out, Ellie refused to go for a longer walk (other than just doing her business) so Anna used that time to play with her so she could get some exercise before being put back in her kennel, which we thought was a great idea. She could've said "oh well," but she took the extra steps to make sure our pup was getting what she needed. We were happy to know that Ellie was in good hands with Anna.

We typically only use the backyard for going out right before bed, as we typically take Major on one long walk and a few short walks throughout the day. Your dog will get plenty of exercise staying with us! Also, dogs are allowed anywhere in the house.

Prior to boarding your dog, we would love to know if they have any special needs or medications, any personality traits we should be aware of, and any triggers or aggression. We like to know what their typical routine at home looks like, including when they normally go out and get fed and where they like to sleep. Every dog is different so just tell us anything you think we need to know in order to make your dog's stay with us as comfortable as possible!
A typical day
We love taking dogs on long walks, and have a great trail right behind our neighborhood that we walk on. It is miles long, so there's plenty to explore!
