I have had animals since I can remember.... I was raised off and on at my grandparents farm, have had animals of my own from hamsters to birds cats and dogs since I was 8. Have been around horses off and on and have helped on ranches when was a teen. Currently my husband and I have 3 kids... to 5 year old twin girls and a 17 year old... we have 3 dogs from medium to giant breed ages 1 to 14 all female and fixed, 3 cats... only 1 of them are indoor, and 2 parrots. We love helping other provide a safe place while their owners are away as we know ourselves that they are just as much kids to us and we treat everybody's baby's just like one of our in our home. I stay home the majority of the day except for errands or driving kids places so your pet will get lots of attention and pitty breaks. I dont get a chance to walk dogs every day but do get out weather pending at least 3 to 4 times a week is the goal. I am able to work with dogs of any ange on basic commands and training and have been able to give meds to pretty much anything if its needed... we have also had to do basic first aid on some of our animals and would contact you if anything happened! As a precaution just because we know that sometimes animals wont always get along with each other we would want to set up a meet and greet with your dogs and ours a few weeks a head of time just in case there might be any issues this way no body will get hurt and this way you will have time to find somebody if needed.... we want the safety of everybody and you to feel like you dont need to worry! I work from home but set my own times for that so I am home the majority of the day... we do most of our traveling around holidays or during the summer. As mentioned earlier we have 3 dogs... trixie is daniff and just over a year old... she is typically really good around other animals that come in the home... she does sometimes try to assert dominance but this might change as she was just fixed a few weeks ago.... she has never been aggressive and is learning....roxie is a lab mix and is about 5 and she is super chill about new dogs coming in... lucy is our old girl who is almost 15 and shebis just a loving old mama and still treats the other 2 as if they were her pups! We have a fairly deceit sized backyard... it's enough for them to run around and get hitters out! Roxie and trixie love playing on the trampoline.... Webelos only crate when necessary so if it's a younger dog that we dont know to well then when we are gone on short outings we will typically crate... trixie still gets crated when we leave... we also have an amazing neighbor and her pup loves to come visit over here and if we gone longer than expected then we can call them and they will be happy to come let pups out but that usually doesnt happen! Again just as a precaution we will want to do a meet and greet at our house so you can see our set up meet us and so we can see how the furries will interact with each other in case somebody doesnt get along.... we do have a cockatoo and an amazon but they stay in cages when we have somebody else visiting us to help protect everybody!
