Furbabies!!! Daily Exercise+Updates

Pet care experience

- My Father owned a local pet store for 10+ years (I was alive for the first 8 and was a happy little helper with various pet needs!) (bathing, grooming, exercise, etc) - I am experienced in distributing both dog and cat medicine (insulin, IV's, inhaler, pills) - I have worked with Guinea Pigs, Rats, and Rabbits (so don't fear if you have little fur babies) - BIG advocate for exercise (love running and taking long walks) - Experience in Dog Training, - Is very knowledgeable of indicators of illness/stress (dehydration, flipped stomach, distrust) and techniques (when applicable) to over come these issues. - I personally have a 1 yr puppy, a 12 year old Newfoundland Lab-Mix, and 2 “royal” cats named Odin and Daisy - I am an Early Childhood Education Student at PSU, adore learning new languages, and hope to be a translator after University. I would be delighted to run and serenade along side your pets! 😃 Thank you so much for considering me as your pet sitter! <3

Anna was willing and able to extend her stay a couple of days which helped me out a great deal. Again, she was awesome with my two dogs.

Anna was an amazing dog sitter for my two girls. She was extremely attentive to their needs. She treated them like they were her own. She stayed at my house so they could feel at home and I can’t thank her enough for that. This was my first time using Rover and it worked out great. I wasn’t sure what to expect but extremely happy with everything.

I am a heavy advocate for exercise with my dog clients - it is the best way to stabilize health, flush out muscles, and check if their urinary tract is in good shape/a healthy color. I understand for senior dogs it may not be as long of walks (or none if they are under serious health circumstances) but even spending time outdoors for vitamin D is part of quality time between pets and humans, and keeps them stimulated. For cats, GP's, and other small animals, I go enjoy playing with lasers and small toys (giving a lot of physical and mental stimulation). I am well versed with separation anxiety dogs, dogs with special needs, and dogs with aggression issues. Be clear with me on your animal's strengths, weaknesses, and current (or past) training so I know where to build off from to create a positive, anxiety free experience for your pets and you!

Please let me know if your furbaby has any medications or special needs that I should be aware of. If they are in-training, please guide me through what your dog has been trained on so far, notify me of weak spots (pulling, biting, etc) so I know what to expect and can come best prepared to accommodate. I do NOT discriminate based on lack of training or breed, so PLEASE be honest and straightforward with me. I have strong training experience and am great friends with local dog trainer John Jones, who has been training police dogs and house dogs for for 40+ years (highly recommend him if you are looking for someone else to work with!)

A typical day

DOG WALKS vs DOG DROP IN INFO: for dog walks, I come over, walk your pup, then leave. For my drop in's ,I personally stay 1-2 hours, which includes a walk, meal, and check in of the house/environment (clean up in puppy accidents). I love walking in public parks within the area (Tudeck, Circleville, Bike Trails throughout various neighborhoods, etc). BUT I DO NOT DO DOG PARKS EVER - there is a much higher risk of bites, attacks, and or territorial incidents to occur when there are 6 dogs running around without a leash in one fenced place. Even if you know your dog, you have no idea what all the other dogs are going to do. Fetch, tug of war, and zoomies around the backyard or house are also ways I enjoy playing with my doggy clients.

I house sit dog walk as a part time job while being a undergrad student. I have started a important internship and will NOT be available in the spring unless it is a emergency. Winter and Summer are what's currently open for me. Once September 1st hits, I will not be able to watch your furbabies between 10am-5pm Monday thru Friday for my on-campus classes, but weekends are open, and week days can include morning/evening walks, meals, drops ins and overnights (I will just be gone during the day time Mon-Fri).
