Pet care experience
I am a vet student at UPenn, I worked as a vet tech for 6 years and I've been a petsitter for many years now! Rover was something I really like to do as an undergrad, walking dogs and just hanging out with animals in general was a great escape from schoolwork. I'm really excited to get back into it! I'm an avid hiker, I would be happy to take your dog on long walks if you like! I'm very careful when it comes to what animals eat, I will always make sure your animals aren't eating anything they're not supposed to. I'm also very familiar with giving various medications since I worked as a technician for some time. I grew up with dogs, and now in my adult life I have a kitty of my own (: I know how nerve wracking it can be leaving your animals in someone else's care, so please feel free to reach out, I'm happy to answer any questions or concerns you might have!

I am offering dog walking and daytime pet care visits. At this point I am not offering any overnight stays, and I can't offer any boarding unfortunately. I will send you lots of pictures of your pet during my visits, and I will keep you updated while I'm there! I'm very attentive and I really care about animals, I promise your pets will be in good hands with me (:

Any medical issues (food allergies, heart conditions, medication schedule/regimen, etc) if they are aggressive, how they behave with other animals (in case we run into other animals during walks).
A typical day
We can walk in neighborhoods, hiking trails, dog parks, bike trails, whatever's nearby! We can also play with their toys while we're inside. I really try to make sure the dogs I babysit aren't bored, if I ever notice a dog or a cat getting antsy/anxious, I really try to interact with them, so they get some exercise/enrichment. In my experience this helps tire them out/calm them down, and I feel like it helps me bond with them so they're more excited to see me next time I come by. Of course, there will definitely be snuggling and belly rubs too(:

Availability
I am in school, so during the week there are many days where I need to go to class in person. But most of my morning lectures can be accessed online, so I am available typically anytime before 12:30 pm. I typically get out of class by 5:00 the latest, so I am available for pet care after that point as well. My weekends do vary, so please reach out and I will certainly try to make it work for you!
