Anna was an exceptional dog and house sitter. We reached out to her on rather short notice to see if she could watch our dog Polo for eleven days over the holidays. In addition to being very responsive, she went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable leaving Polo with her. Because it was our first time leaving Polo with a sitter for an extended period of time, we were a bit nervous. However, Anna was nothing but gracious, reassuring, and kind enough to meet up a number of times before we left to get to know us and Polo.  Polo was quickly drawn to Anna, and her affinity toward animals was immediately noticeable. She was attentive to his needs and personality and picked everything up very fast.  Almost instantaneously, Anna put our worries about leaving Polo to rest.  While we were gone, her communication was very clear, sending regular updates and photos of Polo, showing him very much himself, happy, playful, and comfortable with her. She took him on long walks, played with him, bathed him, and took great care of him generally. In addition to being vigilant to Polo’s needs, Anna was very generous to comply with our very complicated feeding (and other) instructions while we were away.  Anna waited for us on our travel day back, and we were greeted by a happy dog (who even showed signs of missing her!) In addition to taking great care of our dog, she took great care of our home, leaving it better than she found it.  Anna is a caring and trustworthy person, who we would be lucky to have house sit our Polo again in the future!
