For five and a half months, Anna pet/house sat for us while our family backpacked the Appalachian trail, in 2019. The care and well being of our pets is a major concern when we go on one of these long trips. A lot of prayers were sent out, hoping the right person comes along to care for our three cats, five tortoises and one small tank of miscellaneous critters (snail, frog, betta, pleco). Will the person faithfully keep up with the flea treatments? Will they not mind cleaning up throw up when it occurs? Will they be able to tolerate Ollie's relentless talking in the morning or the trio's late night play sessions up and down the hall? Will they lovingly pet, hold, and play with them or will they just be objects that only get attention when they are fed? All our concerns were laid to rest with the arrival of Anna. She fulfilled all our expectations and more. She even helped solve some of our litter box issues. When occasional house issues popped up, she promptly let us know and took care of them. Turtles were well cared for. She even took the time to soak them throughout the summer heat. Our cats were comfortable from the first time they met her. Anna regularly sent e-mails telling us about their latest antics, along with adorable photographs. We really looked forward to seeing these. Our three boys loved her. Affectionately, we titled her Aunt Anna. When we returned home, we were greeted with very relaxed cats. The house was flea free, clean, and full of happy cats. If we ever leave on another trip there would be no hesitation in asking Anna to sit again. Whoever has Anna house/pet sit for them, will be incredibly lucky to have chosen her.

Anna stayed at my house for over two weeks in December 2018/January 2019. While we were away she sent updates and photos of our dog and was quick to respond when we reached out. She took good care of our older dog and was proactive about communicating with the rescue agency that coordinates her medication and vet appointments. We returned to a healthy dog and a clean house and would certainly recommend her to others!
