Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and cats in a big family. For years, I have taken care of my friends and family member dogs and some cats. When I lived in Alaska, often times, I would help run my friends' dogs by taking them trail running or hiking with me, 2 to 3 dogs at a time. I love to be outdoors, and there is nothing better then a four legged furry friend to come along. My energy level is pretty high and active, and usually me and dogs get along pretty well. At the moment, my schedule is pretty flexible and looking to dog sit and walk mornings & afternoons. Any command or call your dog needs to hear, I am good about sticking to the lingo for them.

Anna was just wonderful! So happy to help us out while visiting in town. Took great care of the pups and we were glad she was available! Would ask her to watch our babies anytime :)
Anna & Paul were so great with River! We did a meet and greet the day before our trip and knew instantly that he would be in good hands while we were gone. River has a torn ACL--Anna & Paul were able to give his medications, keep him safe during his healing process AND take him outdoors for daily exercise. We will most definitely be booking with them again!
Anna and Paul completely exceeded all of my expectations of what I thought pet sitting could be! They were 100% professional, and made me feel very comfortable with the situation. They watched my dog overnight, and took him on several hikes, played lots of fetch, and cuddled him like he was their own! They sent me photos and updates very frequently which I loved and appreciated. I will call Anna and Paul anytime I need pet sitting from here on out, because I know they are doing it because they genuinely want to, not out of obligation!
Highly recommended! Anna is dependable, courteous, and professional. My dog can be a challenging breed, but I love her to bits and trust Anna to give her compassionate and thorough care.

Honestly, I do not have any breed preferences, but I would like to the know the commands from the owner. How should I say basic things from stay, come, leave it, etc...I do not ever want to confuse your dogs' commands with another, so just want the owner to be really clear on that. Also, I just want to make sure I know if the dog has any allergies or food issues I should know of while we are hanging out.
A typical day
If the owner doesn't mind, I would love to take the dog on hiking trails around town. Also, I love to go to a dog park and just play fetch with the dogs, and just run off that energy. Dogs need lots of love and I love to play with them from tug of war with a frisbee to running with them.
