I’ve owned and been around dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and temperaments my entire life. Your pet will be in excellent hands! I am available for drop in visits all day Sat-Sun with some availability during the week, please message for details. I am available for short potty walks in the mornings and longer walks in the evenings during the week. I am available for housesitting anytime. I also have experience with special needs pets (medications, mobility issues, senior, puppy, reactive, etc) and can provide a calm and balanced experience for your pet. Unfortunately at this time I am not able to host pets in my home currently but will update my profile if that situation changes. I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s)!

Anna is so great with my nervous little girls. They take a long time to warm up to someone (and to stop yelling at them), but they learned to trust Anna very quickly. She’s calm and patient and affectionate with them, and she’s flexible and easy to work with for me. Will definitely hire her again!

Anna was wonderful! She stayed with our two Great Danes while we were on vacation for 5 days. We felt at ease while we were away, knowing that she was taking great care of our dogs.
I was so glad I was able to book Anna on such short notice. When I met her, I knew I could put a lot of trust in her to take care of my senior dog and my house. She stayed in touch while I was away and I was really appreciative of her communication.

Pets can often feel frightened or protective when their person is away. I do my best to provide a calm, non-threatening experience for animals so they can accept me as their temporary caregiver.
Information Anna B. would like to know about your pet
I am comfortable with most dogs and cats. If your dog is known to be protective of their home with strangers or if your cat can be a little skittish, I prefer to come over and meet them ahead of a booking so they can get used to the new smells. I also like to have any vet or emergency contact information, allergy list, and any other pertinent care information prior to booking.
A typical day
I love to go for walks, and if your pup is friendly I am willing to take them to dog parks and play dates. Grand Avenue Park, Garfield Park, and Jackson Park are some of my favorite places. If outside the property isn’t an option, we can play fetch and tug-of-war to their heart’s content!
