I grew up with two separate rescue dogs, paying attention to their unique needs and making sure they got the love they hadn't received from their previous owners. After undergrad, my husband and I got a huge 100 lb. chocolate lab named Murphy. We, sadly, lost Murph in January 2022 to cancer after loving every minute with him for 10 years. We've decided to Rover because we miss him, and can't wait to provide that same love and attention to your pet. My husband and I both work remotely 90% of the time, so there is always at least 1 person at home throughout the vast majority of every weekday. We like to see friends for a meal throughout the week but do not typically stay out late. We love being active and used to take our dog, Murphy, to the dog park or on a hike every single day. We can absolutely offer the same to your pet. In addition, we are used to going on walks 3-5 times each day for exercise and potty breaks. We love walks and the dog park so your pet won't feel stuck inside all day. We are happy to attend to any specific needs your pet might have, as well as enforce your home rules (like not going on the couch if that is something you do not want your pet getting used to).
