Pet care experience
I have cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes, from puppies, to large-sized dogs, to senior dogs. Growing up with pets has given me a unique understanding of their needs and behaviors. Additionally, I have volunteered at Helping Paws of Woodstock where I gained experience walking dogs and providing light behavioral training. Going to years of behavioral training with my dogs, as well as volunteering at helping paws has helped me develop skills in training as well as caring for senior dogs with physical needs. I have over 10 years of experience watching dogs, and 21 years of living with them. With deep love and understanding of pets, I am eager to provide your furry friend with the highest level of care and attention!

Cuatro was so happy at Anna’s she barely noticed my arrival! During the stay I was notified immediately when Cuatro vomited, we set up a plan of action. No intervention was needed and Cuatro continued having a great time walking, playing fetch and tennis. Anna was a great match for Cuatro, I will chose her again!

As a pet sitter, safety, trust, and a positive environment are my top priorities for your furry friends. When caring for pets in my home, I ensure that they have a comfortable and safe space to stay, with plenty of toys, bedding, and clean water. I also make sure that play spaces are pet-proofed and free from any potential hazards. Additionally, I always follow any instructions or guidelines provided by the pet owner, including any dietary restrictions, medication schedules, or specific care instructions. I believe in open communication and will work closely with pet owners to ensure that their pet's unique needs and preferences are met, so they can rest assured that their pet is in good hands. Lastly, I prioritize trust by keeping my clients informed about their pet's well-being with regular updates, photos, and videos (if wanted). My goal is to provide a warm and welcoming environment that fosters trust and a positive relationship between myself, the pet, and their owner!

Their behavior: understanding your dog's temperament, personality, and behavior around other dogs, animals, and people can help me tailor their care and activities to best suit the dog's needs. Diet: Knowing their dietary needs and preferences is important to ensure that they maintain their normal routine. Exercise requirements and preferences: It's helpful to know how much exercise your dog needs and what activities they enjoy, so I can provide enough physical activity to keep the dog happy and healthy. Training: Understanding a dog's level of training, including commands they know and any behavior issues, is important for providing consistent and effective care.
A typical day
In the mornings, we'll start the day with a walk around my neighborhood or at a nearby park. During the day we can sit outside, or play depending on your pup's energy levels. I like going on trail hikes and walks as well. I am always open to suggestions from pet owners about what their furry friends enjoy. If they have a favorite park, trail, or activity, I am more than happy to accommodate those preferences!

Availability
I am currently a University student who is taking classes Monday- Thursday. I will be available during the days for short-term sitting, as well as drop in visits. I love to go on walks and play, it would be great to have a furry companion!
