My name is Strom, and I would LOVE to meet your dog! ⭐ I come from a family of dog-lovers and those active in the animal rescue field, and have never known life without dogs. I practice force-free training, and respond to your dog's needs with patience and compassion. I currently have one chihuahua (anxious but warms up with exposure), and I have experience with all sizes of dogs, and all ages. I am comfortable with all breeds! Other animals I have experience with and am comfortable sitting include reptiles (snakes, lizards), cats, and rodents. My rates are flexible, as is my schedule, and I am available for last-minute and on-call appointments during the day before 4pm. I am available for overnight stays and daily walks (yes, cats too!). My main concern is that your dog is happy and healthy while I watch over them. I can accommodate any allergies and behavior needs as described by you, and if anything changes, just leave me a note or send me a text! I do like to carry treats, so if they are on a restrictive diet, let me know ahead of time, and substitutions can be made.
A typical day
This all depends on your dog's comfort level! Frequent bathroom breaks are given, as well as daily 15-30 minute walks based on activity level and age. I am comfortable administering oral or topical medication. I am a firm believer in force free training, and do not subscribe to the 'pack leader' method. Your dog is family, and should be treated with respect and understanding. However, this doesn't mean they can chew on the sofa! I am available for check-ins or overnight stays.
