My husband and I are energetic young professionals who moved to the Victory Neighborhood of Minneapolis in June 2018. We love it here! We have a neat fenced in yard perfect for small to medium sized dogs. We both grew up with dogs, though we don’t own a dog of our own yet! We do have a tabby cat named Dart and a 2 year old girl (born July 2020) but we still have lots of time to spend with your pup, because Anna works part time outside the home. We live near a large dog park and walking trails and we have a secure fenced in backyard so your dog can get lots of exercise! We are very excited to meet you and your pup and can’t wait to give them the perfect home away from home!

We have a fenced in backyard, which is perfect for dogs to do their business and get some exercise! I also love taking dogs for walks in our neighborhood for additional exercise. We prefer crate trained dogs for when we’re at work, but that’s not necessary.

I teach violin lessons at home on Monday evenings, so we prefer that any dog that stays with us is able to be in a crate or kennel during that time, and doesn’t bark too much. Otherwise, it’s fine for dogs to be loose in the house when we are gone if they aren’t destructive. :)
A typical day
We live near Victory Memorial Parkway, so walks together will happen there. We also have a modest sized fenced in back yard, and dogs LOVE playing fetch or just running around back there when we are home. We also have a dog park near our home.

Availability
I work part time both from home and outside the home. I am home all day most Wednesdays and Fridays, and Mondays during the day. Tuesdays and Thursdays I work outside the home, but I am home in the mornings so i can walk dogs and let them out if they are staying with us. My flexible schedule is great for dog walking and sitting!
