Will love your pet, let’s meet up.
Pet care experience
I am excited I’m getting settled near my daughter & her family, in the Woodinville/Bothell area. I have a 7 month old, female German Shepherd puppy (Oct 22, 2020) I have a fenced yard & am working so it will be fun for playing & training in a safe & secure space. I have made sure my yard is escape proof (unless you have an escape artist, which means no yard is “escape proof”)...which I know because of my past experience with one of my dogs who even got out of a locked kennel at the vet, 3 times! (He was banned from boarding after that! Oh my..that dog could get out of anything & had epilepsy & took daily meds & am so glad to say we always found him 💙) The backyard is fun & secure for dogs, with a 5 ft wooden fence with a locked gate, an outside, covered porch, & a large secure deck in the front yard. I’m looking forward to many engaging activities for my puppy & yours. I have 38+ years of experience, since 1983, raising 4 wonderful German Shepherds. I now have Baylee, my 5th GSD, who has had some very challenging health issues, including early onset seizures. My 1 rescue dog, a Flat Coat Retriever mix, who had severe epilepsy & major separation anxiety,& was also the professional “escape” artist. I have references from my vets for all my past dogs. I used the same vet for close to 25 yrs before I moved to the Woodinville, Bothell area after being in S King County for 34 years. I have local & family references who I’ve cared for their pet companions.) I would like to have a meet & greet with you & your dog(s) to be sure it’s a great fit for your pet, & go over any questions we both have & to get to know one another. . I used Rover when I needed care for Buddy, my 4th GS, who was also my service dog. I also used a walker when I couldn’t walk him myself, which was a great help. I never used “regular” boarding in a kennel for Buddy, while I did with all my other German Shepherd fur babies. I feel It’s so much better to have options for in-home care at a sitter’s home, or your home, if you’re traveling, are ill, have had surgery, or for any reason, and you want to know they’ll be safe, secure, & loved when not with you. If you have a Service Dog & you have to be in the hospital & or in rehab, I understand their importance to you & to have a secure & loving “home away from home” setting for them. I found a wonderful, loving sitter through Rover, when I had to leave him, at the last minute, unexpectedly, somewhere other than planned. The reason I used Rover was very unexpected, but it turned into a such a great experience I used this sitter numerous times afterward. It is a wonderful option to have, I believe, that I didn’t have before when I needed to board my previous German Shepherds &rescue dog. Leaving to go on my 1st & only cruise, my son was coming to stay with Buddy, but 2 days before I was leaving he couldn’t come keep him. I never boarded Buddy & had to try to find care for him ASAP which was very terrifying to me. Though Rover I found the most wonderful home boarding for him for 2 weeks & used her many other times. She & her family showed Buddy so much love. I also used a Rover walker for Buddy after I had shoulder surgery in 2017 which was a perfect solution, as well, for me. I will give the same loving care to your dog as I have to all of mine. I know how important it is to know your companions are in experienced & loving care when you need it.
Reviews
Ann is an caring animal lover. She's been an amazing dog mom to her own pooches and I completely trust her to care for my pets while out of town. Dogs always respond to her with great enthusiasm when they meet her as well!

Information Ann W. would like to know about your pet
I’d want a meet & greet, as I this feel is best. Then want to know their level of training, how they walk on leash, medical conditions, IF they are escape artists, exactly how you want their care to be when they are with me, if there is any history of not liking other dogs, what their favorite activities are, food(s) they eat. Now I have just gotten a German Shepherd puppy (9 weeks old 5/2020) & would consider day sitting/ overnight/ vacation sitting of puppies, depending on similar training etc (puppies = 24/7 on duty, sort of)
A typical day
Walks, being loved, playing with dog approved toys, going everywhere I go, if appropriate, having my full attention
