Your four-legged family member(s) will feel at home under our roof! I have always been passionate about animals and I truly feel that they are members of our family. I am an animal lover, certified teacher, artist, and previously a dog trainer. I have cared for many types of animals throughout my life and I am constantly researching animal history and care. I have volunteered at cat shelters, dog shelters, and animal preserves that provide shelter/care to animals (a variety of species from snakes, to chickens, to goats, and even big cats) in need. My husband and I have both owned dogs and cats throughout our lives. We have owned large breed and small breed dogs - currently a Chihuahua and a Japanese Chin rule the roost. When your pet stays with us, they will be treated as a family member. I am currently at home all day, so walks and potty breaks will be available as needed, or every couple of hours. You can rest assured that your pets will be safe and happy in our home!
