Very active dog lover looking to provide companionship. Recently retired with very flexible availability. Have cared for dogs since a young child, and throughout my entire lifetime. Have previously bred, trained, and raised golden retrievers. Experienced with both younger and older dogs, size does not matter as we have a large home and yard for plenty of exercise ( 14 acres). We have 1 very well behaved & friendly senior dog of our own who gets along well with other dogs. I believe I am capable of providing quality care and attention for your dog. Ann has a wonderful way with dogs. Typically, my dog fears strangers when I am not home. Ann gets her to happily play and go for walks. She is a real help with giving my dog a break from an otherwise boring day.
I have known Ann for 30 years. She is a fun loving genuine person who adores dogs, especially Golden Retrievers! Ann and her family have always had a Golden as part of their family. She prides herself on training and disciplining dogs. She is firm yet very loving and has a very cute soft sweet side with dogs. I highly recommend Ann for dog sitting. She is honest trustworthy and reliable and would be a great addition to Rover. I can guarantee people will be asking for Ann by name!! I love her dearly. Joanne
I recommend Ann for a dog walker &/or sitter. She is a very responsible & loving caregiver. I have had the pleasure to walk many years with all of her dogs and they all have been so playful, respectful and so well cared for. In the winter months we get together with a group of owners and their dogs and what I admire most about Ann is that when we are walking with all of the dogs, she always greets them gently, lovingly and is always willing to play with all of them.

What does your dog like to do? Where do they like to sleep? What times of the day should I feed your dog and measurements will be needed. The owner should feel free to bring any of their toys along with dog beds etc... I want your dog to feel at home. Is there any special time they should be taken out to pee and or poop?
A typical day
I will take your dog for a walk down our long driveway and in the woods behind our house. I have found these areas to be safe for all types of dogs. My dog likes to go in the stream next to our house and play in a kiddy pool when it is hot. When it is cold we play in the snow. I will gladly play fetch with your dog or any other games they enjoy.
