Pet care experience
I worked with children with special needs as a registered behavior therapist for five years and absolutely love the field. But my dream has always been to work with dogs in some capacity. I believe that dogs needs exercise and socialization with other dogs, but realize some dogs just do not like other dogs and just need a human there for them at some point during the day. I have taken dog training classes and will work with your dog if needed. I also have a big, fenced in yard and three very sociable dogs that would love to spend time with your dog if socialization is what is needed. I am flexible on times during the day and would love to meet your dog.

There is a reason that Ann is a star sitter, her communication is great, her care is top notch and my little buddy is tired from having fun all day and sleeps like a baby. I was worried about leaving a puppy with a stranger but Ann has really been amazing
We went on vacation for a week and Ann was amazing! She walked Walter and sent pics almost every day. It was the first time we left him for more than one night so we were a little nervous. However we soon learned that he was in great hands. He was totally pooped when we got home. Thanks Ann for taking care of our pup, she’s definitely our go to boarder!

Dogs that stay here are treated as part of our family while they are here. Dogs play, rest and get treats together. I do separate small dogs and larger dogs or senior that just need to be away from high energy dogs for a while if needed. It depends on the situation. My floor plan is open with gates separating different rooms.

I like to know their schedules so I can follow as closely as what they are used to at home. Dogs tend to let you know when it’s time to be fed, walked etc. So it helps if the owner gives me a heads up ahead of time.
A typical day
Wake up take the dogs out for potty break. Play a little bit if they are feeling up to it. Administer medications, breakfast. Dogs have freedom throughout the day to go outside when they need to. We often play games in the basement during inclement weather. Feed dinner. Dogs are walked and fed throughout the day according to schedule they are accustomed to. Sleeping arrangements are as close to what the dog is used to at home. We have dog beds everywhere throughout the home.

Availability
I am home 24/7. If I have to run out for a few minutes my husband is available to watch the dogs. The dogs are never left alone.
