Your dog will ask for me by name!

Pet care experience

My personal veterinarian is my reference, as I have owned ferrets (a highly specialized pet) for 30 years. My vet and her staff know the kind of care I would provide to a dog I was sitting, and that I owned German Shepherds and shepherd mixes from childhood until 1985, becoming smitten with ferrets. I like to play games with dogs, yet have no problems enforcing any discipline that their owners specify. I just rescued a dear little ferret, and still need to be around dogs at this point in my life, and finally have the time and energy to do so!

Ann was great with Prince. She sent lots of pictures and he seemed to fit right in with her caring personality! Thanks again, Ann.

I have known Ann for many years and she has always been an enthusiastic and devoted animal owner herself. Ann is also very dependable and punctual.

Information Ann B. would like to know about your pet

Since I have a ferret, for whom canine distemper is 100% fatal, all dogs that I sit must be up to date on their canine distemper vaccinations. Terriers/Daschunds might not be a good mix with Chief the Ferret, even though he stays in his cage, since they're bred to go after small, burrowing creatures. A Meet & Greet would tell!

A typical day

I HAVE A FERRET. CHIEF LIVES IN A CAGE, BUT GETS 3 FORTY-FIVE MINUTE PLAYTIMES A DAY. I WOULD PREFER DOGS THAT DO NOT MIND BEING IN THEIR CRATE DURING THESE SHORT TIMES UNTIL I CAN JUDGE WHETHER OR NOT THEY WILL GET ALONG WITH CHIEF OR NOT. WE CAN WORK IT OUT!
