Quiet layed back home

Pet care experience

I am here to help people who need to get away for the weekend and need a reliable place for their companion to stay. I moved into a house about 3 years ago for my big dog (because we couldn't find a 90 lb dog friendly apartment) in a quieter neighborhood. Unfortunately my dog developed a neurological disorder in her older years and passed away August 2018. Since then I've walked dogs at CACC and have handled quite a few pullers and leash biters. Big, skinny, shy, rambunctious: CACC has them all. Ive walked 10 lb dogs. I've also definitely walked 100+ lbs dogs. Big dogs are really where my heart is but I don't discriminate because dogs are awesome. I have a roommate who loves dogs. I work in a corporate office downtown. I work the typical 8-4 or 9-5 during the week but my weekends are pretty open. I understand how important updates are and will work with you on any behavioral issues your dog may have during the stay. My biggest concern is the safety and happiness of your pet. I look forward to meeting with you and your pup. Just a few notes: Meet and greet is required for all new clients prior to booking. Pickups for boarding past 12PM the day of picking up will need to add an additional night to booking. If pee pads/belly bands/ feminine products are something you use at home, please let me know ahead of time so I can either have them available or prepare the house for the circumstance.

Ann is the best. My large pup always comes home happy and well-cared for. Ann goes the extra mile with her cate of my dog and she is a wonderful person. Thanks for the excellent and worry-free care!

Ann was such a sweetheart! She was able to take care of my 85 lb high energy pitbull with such grace and I trusted him with her. She was super flexible in scheduling pick up/drop off and we frequently communicated!

Ann was a fantastic sitter for my leash reactive, arthritic and somewhat unpredictable old man rescue pup. She went above and beyond providing daily updates during his stay and recommending resources for nose work training. She even discovered that he understands spanish! Ann is an expert when it comes to special needs dogs. Thank you, Ann!

Ann is the best. She loves dogs and they become a part of her family. She also has a wonderful sense of humor so when she kindly sends pics and videos, you crack up. My lazy dog lounged on her sofa, tongue out, and passed out like she ruled the world at Ann’s house. She is wonderful!

Information Ann B. would like to know about your pet

I really need to know if you're dog is a chewer of things other than dog toys and also if they are not house broken. Please let me know also if your pup has allergies, anxiety issues or any general health concerns that may be impacted on a walk. These are by no means deal breakers but your honesty is my key to providing your dog with the best stay possible. Lastly, if they need more than 45-60 min of walking in a day, please let me know.

A typical day

Walking at the park is a given. I live by 2 parks. My neighborhood has a lot of dogs. I also have a fenced back yard if your dog is more of a sun bather outside in the warmer weather or likes to play fetch (though there's not a ton of room to run). I love Tug o war with a rope toy if your dog is into that. Whatever we end up doing, you'll most likely get a picture of it :) If your dog likes to chill we will get along famously. If your dog loves belly rubs even better!
