Pet care experience
I’ve always had a special connection with animals. I grew up with my first love: my family’s shepherd lab mix, Gypsy. She was a grumpy old character that gave me lots of experience with walking, feeding, bathing, and tiring out even the most high energy pets! I also have years of experience with cats and really enjoy bringing them out of their shell and keeping them entertained. I feel more than comfortable with my years of taking care of my family, friends, and neighborhood’s motley group of all kinds of pets, from the most easy going to the most reactive! And look forward to applying that same adaptivity to my relationship with your furry friends!

I looked for a last minute sitter for Basil, who can’t be left alone. She said she could do that, so I booked right away, then at the meet & greet she said she had classes to attend so I was confused. I asked her to bring him to a friend who could watch him during her class, & it was stressful to hope that he wouldn’t be left alone… She didn’t really interact with my dog during the meet and greet or the visit itself (e.g. during the meet and greet she just kind of stood in my entry way when I tried to show her the layout of the apt, & based on my Furbo camera I could see she didn’t really interact with my dog much during the stay), but my dog was safe and fed and she didn’t leave him home alone as requested. However she also left 12 minutes earlier than we discussed but waited until the time she was actually supposed to leave to send the picture saying she left. If you are just looking for your dog to be safe, fed, and minimally walked, she is fine, but for $50/night there are other options on Rover who will give them more attention!
Anjali is one of the most attentive and compassionate sitter, we’ve used lately. She took really good care of our (somewhat nervous) cat Cooper, while we were out for a few weeks. So much so we think Cooper probably wishes we were still out on vacation 😏.
Anjali was wonderful! She took great pics of our cat and provided very detailed messages. Our cat was happy and well cared for when we came back.
Anjali was great with Naya and very helpful over an extended trip!

A typical day
Pets deserve attention and enrichment tailored to their needs. Drop in visits include playing, running a few laps, belly rubs, and more. I do bring my own enrichment if requested. Walks are as long as your doggy needs - if your pup enjoys a run, let me know! I do have a rule about No Dog Parks. While I believe socializing our dogs is important, dog parks are not the safe and supportive environment that I am comfortable providing for your dog in.

I’m spending 2024 finally finishing up my degree from TAMU. Because of this, my hours are more flexible than ever and I am able to work with the time constraints you have in your busy schedule, instead of the other way around! I’m an early bird, too.
