Hi there! I am recently retired and am looking for a job that doesn’t have a time card or a cubicle. Because I want to save a little money to help my daughter. She found this job because she was looking for a job related to animals. I am very passionate about animals. I love them all!! And I am willing to help anyway I can while you’re away if needed My daughter loves dogs and cats but has a passion for goats. She is almost 16 years old and an award winning showman and herdsman.She holds the title of the Florida State Junior Showmanship Champion 2 years in a row. She has been a member of 4H since she was 6!!! Last summer we travelled to Nationals in Oregon and she placed 4th. Next summer she wants to travel to Louisville for Nationals to improve her ranking. For the last 15 years we have worked on a farm raising goats, chickens, horses, rabbits, bunnies, cows, ducks, and pigs. We have had it all! There are also have 5 working dogs on the farm. They are Great Pyrenees livestock guard dogs. One is a senior and one is special needs. They protect our award winning herd of dairy show goats. Our goats have won multiple titles at the Florida state fair, showing how dedicated we are to animals. Showing involves grooming, administering meds, tattooing, drawing blood and keeping track of the breeding. I am very passionate about what we do. I know what it is like to have to leave our loved ones to be looked after by someone else when we travel around the state and country showing our goats.
