Pet care experience
Friendly pet carer helping you give your furry family the extra attention they deserve when you’re otherwise engaged. As a pet owner myself (to two very polite guinea pigs, at the moment) I understand how balancing the needs of your pet can be challenging alongside work and family life. I will look after your pet with the care and attention they deserve while you’re busy! Whether it’s a stretch of the legs they need or a friend at home while you’re away, I’m happy to help and keep them happy too. ** PLEASE NOTE the rate for house sitting and daycare represents a 3h stay. The hourly rate for these services is £10p/h in line with the skill, attention and effort it takes to properly care for your pet while you’re away. **
Reviews
Anita was great, she communicated really well and gave our dog a really good fun walk and sent great pictures ☺️ Thank you so much for your walkies with our dog! ??
Anita is amazing and truly cared and enjoyed our little pug. Anita is tremendous and we’ve already arranged for her to look after our dog in future. Thanks so much Anita. The kids loved the updates, pictures and videos and it was telling how well the dog thought of you when he wanted to leave with you. Thanks again.
Couldnt have asked for anyone better. Anita’s extremely understanding and has great communication. I guess my puppy loves her since he knows where she lives and will just wag his tail, run towards her and jump all over her as soon as we get to her place.
Our cockapoo, Jonah adores Anita! He’s seen her at work and at play, in our home and out for walks and she is always calm, caring, confident and I entirely trust her with his care. Despite the fact Anita has moved way, Jonah still tries to get inside her previous home, every time we walk past.

I have a fenced yard and a large downstairs space at my home to care for your pets. My guinea pigs will stay in a separate room while your fur babies are visiting! In your own home I am mindful of the routines you have in place for your pets, just let me know what they’re used to and I’ll do my best to make them feel it’s like you aren’t even away
Information Anita D. would like to know about your pet
I have looked after dogs and cats of different ages, with different needs. I am conscientious about your pet’s individual care needs and will be happy to support any medication or health routines you have in place for your pet. I would ask that special needs are written down for me on a piece of paper or a message so that I have the information to hand when needed, so that I can ensure your pet gets from me what they need! I may also ask how your pet feels about small animals and small people. This will not affect my wholehearted approach to their care, but is for two simple reasons. I have two guinea pigs of my own at home (who are very good friends with my mum’s cat Charlie and Jonah the Cockapoo), but if your furry friend is likely to want to be a bit too playful with them I’ll need to know to keep the door to their room closed. Secondly although we currently don’t have any children at home, I have learned from experience that the neighbourhood children are dog lovers and will often approach animals when they’re out for a walk. Your advice on how to manage this helps me to keep everyone, including your pet, out of difficult situations. Your pet’s emotional comfort is one of my top priorities.
A typical day
I think I must have been a dog in another life, because I need a walk and/or a run every day! Stretching the legs is always more fun with friends and if we aren’t exploring the area near your home, I live ten minutes from the idyllic Walthamstow Wetlands which is just one of several great spots nearby for playing with furry companions! I know that pets can sometimes feel quite sad when their bestie (that’s you) has to be away for a while, so I will be sure to give lots of cuddles and love to your pet and keep them occupied with games and activities until you pick them up.

Availability
I’m a PhD student and freelance musician so my work load is very flexible, and totally workable around a caring schedule for pets in need of walks, playtime and companionship. I am available on an ad hoc basis, which sometimes varies according to other commitments. At the moment those are very few!
