We have a hyper 2 year old bulldog puppy named Rose and a sweet lazy 11 year old pibble mix named Stella. Rose's favorite thing is to run around in circles in the backyard with her toys in her mouth and Stella's favorite thing is sleeping while smiling. The main reason we dog sit is to find great doggy buddies for our puppy Rose. We love having doggy play fests and obviously Rose loves having puppy playtime too. We look for puppies that are about the rough and tumble life. Rose plays like a small hippo and needs friends who wrestle as hard as she does. As a general rule, we've found that medium sized (20-60 lb) compact high energy pups fit her playstyle (examples: bully breeds, Boston terriers, small pitbulls, Australian shepherds/border collies, smaller sized labs/retrievers, etc) though this isn't to rule out other breeds and sizes. Rose also has made great friends with an 8 pound jack russel terrier mix that uses her entire body weight to play big and an 80 pound Great Dane puppy that played while laying down. If your dog requires any medication (oral, otic, optic, etc.), injections, is diabetic, or has any medical conditions you treat daily at home, as a vet technician I would be happy to administer these to your dog as needed. I am also fully willing to discuss adding on nail trims, ear cleanings, baths, and anal gland expressions, if your dog requires during their stay with us. Whatever your dog needs during its' vacation, whether it is a comfy quiet relaxed environment, or a fun-filled exercise rompus, we are able to cater to you and your dog's needs. Our dogs lie on opposite ends of the crazy energizer bunny to lazy lump spectrum and so wherever your dog falls, they will have a buddy to hang out with.
