Unfortunately, my experience with this cat sitter was far from satisfactory, and I feel it necessary to share for the benefit of other pet owners considering her services. Firstly, security at my home was compromised when she neglected to lock the front door after her visit, a basic yet crucial aspect of a sitter's responsibility. The care provided to my cat was also subpar. Despite clear instructions, she failed to properly manage my cat's feeding schedule and medication needs, which is alarming considering the health and wellbeing of my pet is paramount. Communication, an essential component of trust between a pet owner and a sitter, was significantly lacking. She was consistently late for appointments without any prior notice or explanation afterward, leaving me in the dark about my pet's wellbeing. Her attentiveness to my cat was disappointingly inadequate. It was observed that she spent a majority of her time on her phone, neglecting the needs and companionship my cat required. Furthermore, basic hygiene tasks such as emptying the litter box were overlooked, contributing to an uncomfortable environment for my pet. In summary, the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and disregard for specific care instructions have led me to advise against using this sitter's services. Ensuring the safety, health, and happiness of our pets when we are away is critical, and unfortunately, this experience was far from achieving that standard.
