Of my three children, first born Angie was always the pet lover of the family. We always had a pet, dogs and cats, and Angie was the dominant "parent" to them. After high school, she considered becoming a vet, but instead became an elementary school teacher because she felt that her heart could not bare the downside of witnessing animals suffer and die. Now that she has retired from teaching, her next best interest looms as sharing the same love with animals. Angie was cited with many accolades throughout her teaching career, and will carry on that love of humanity and animals for all her life.
