Vet student who can walk your pets!

Pet care experience

Hi! My name is Angie and I’ve been working with animals almost my whole life. In high school I worked in an AZA accredited zoo where I assisted with animal care and welfare. I additionally have owned a cat, 2 horses, and a chinchilla. I have worked at a vet clinic as an assistant and currently am starting vet school. You could say I’m very passionate about animals! I have lots of experience with dogs, my own and other people’s, including but not limited to feeding/watering, walking, and playing. I am more than happy to pick your dog up and take them for a walk or feed them, or house sit/take care of them while you’re away. I have many references - I completely understand that our pets are our babies and that they deserve the best care possible.

Angie did a wonderful job with my dog Stephen! She provided me with frequent updates and gave him a lot of wonderful attention. I will definitely be booking again with her in the future!

Angie was really easy to work with and did a great job taking care of our cat, Bunny. Loved the gorgeous photos of Bunny that Angie sent us, too! Would definitely recommend working with her!

Angie took care of my cat everyday. She came one extra time to make sure he is ok at the “hiding” place. Thank you Angie.

Safety, trust & environment

First I make sure your pet gets comfortable with me by giving them space and letting them approach me as they please. I never try to immediately get in their space. I make sure they’re okay with me before doing anything like petting or clipping on the leash. I also make sure I don’t invade their space (and therefore yours!) too much and stick to where their things are (leashes, food and water).

Home

Lives in an apartment
Does not have a yard
Non-smoking household
Has 1 cat
No children present

Information Angie P. would like to know about your pet

I’d like to know if they have a history of aggression or shyness, if they would feel more comfortable in a crowded or quiet environment, and how they are around other dogs/cats/people.

A typical day

We can go to parks and play fetch, I can take them on their usual route, or we could explore! I also make sure to keep pets away from strange pets to prevent any mishaps and keep everyone safe and healthy.
