Pet care experience
I’ve been an animal sitter since I was 8 years old. As someone without any pets of my own, I am always one to jump at a chance to play with and care “fur” yours! I have experience with cats, dogs, rodents, fish, and bunnies of all ages and abilities. I’ve cared for animals missing legs, on medications, are deaf, and/or blind. I’ve also worked with old and young animals (6 mos <), so I’m happy to run the zoomies away, and equally glad to take as much time as your companion needs to get through daily living.

Angie went above and beyond during her stay with our 4 year old golden retriever. Our dog has anxious tendencies, and Angie’s calm & assuring demeanor toward her was an immediate match! Angie kept in communication & sent photos during her stay with our pup. Best dog sitter we’ve had.
Thank you, Angie! Our dog had an unexpected veterinary need while we were out of the country and Angie took him in for care, gave him meds, and kept us updated along the way. We are so grateful for the care she provided!
Angie was awesome! Super responsive & attentive to our senior dog and keeping me updated along the way. I was looking for coverage during a long work shift and will be adding her to our dog care list for overnights in the future. :) definitely recommend!

I am happy to take any approach that will make you and your pet feel most comfortable while caring for them. We can stay in, or head out! I always carry enough water on outings for the both of us, and know how to administer both CPR and medications (oral, topical, and some familiarity with injections). I am a Wilderness First Responder, a preschool teacher, and previously worked in human subject research, so I am well-equipped to handle a myriad of high energy/intensity situations.

Let me know if there’s any special routines or needs I can help meet for your animal! Some other basic information I’d like to know how they react to people (gender preferences?)/ other animals, how they do on/off leash, and if they have any favorite toys or activities.
A typical day
I am up for anything your animal is! At the park or in your yard, I’m game for a chuck-it, a frisbee, or challenging them to a game of tug-of-war. I’m happy to run or walk us to our adventures! We can always take a break or stay in for the day to beat the afternoon heat or a rainy day with scratches in all the right places, a fresh brushing, and a dance party.

Availability
I work 8-3:45 M-F in-person, but am available for morning and post-work visits. My weekends are up for the taking if you need someone full-time during your weekend getaway! I’m happy to stay overnight any day of the week in your home with your animals :)
