A moment of the best love

Pet care experience

I’ve had dogs all my life since I was born. My mom taught me compassion from the very start, caring for all animals from injured wildlife to mice to horses. Dogs in particular play a big part of who I am today. There was never a gap in time I didn’t have a pup as my companion and teacher. I’ve always been a lot happier furbabysitting a ton of pups versus babysitting one human haha. I understand and read dogs very well, behavior and demeanor.

This is my first ever Rover experience and Angie did a great job. My dog had a very nice first stay. She sent me pictures and update videos of my dog Bentley. Thank you for taking such great care of my sweet fur baby. Thank you!

Angie took great care of our pup, Bentley who is 6 months old and very timid and clingy. She made him feel comfortable, even took him for a walk which was great! Sent me pictures and updates on how Bentley was doing which was a huge relief knowing he was well taken care of. Would recommend again!

Because we have a human baby and a senior furbaby, we would like to schedule a meet and greet first before confirming your pups stay. If you cannot come in person then a video call or phone call would be wonderful to learn more about your furbaby. I will ask that your furbaby is solid on not using the bathroom in the home and does not mark inside the home. I have 1 dog, Kona. Monster, my little one, passed away last year 2020 but I haven’t had the heart to pull her little profile off the site. Kona is a rescue and now a senior citizen but still can play like a puppy. Kona has an old lingering knee injury. Pups smaller then herself no matter the energy level works well with her. Larger pups weighing more than 50lbs, Kona sometimes has a hard time keeping up and would be best to meet first before stay. In respect of your furbaby’s needs, we want to make sure we are a good fit and that we are able to accommodate to all your pups needs. We want your furbaby to feel at home while youre away.

Information Angie H. would like to know about your pet

Is your furbaby good with toddlers? Food or toy gaurding? Any food allergies or one to eat everything and anything? My toddler often drops food/objects on the ground. Level of seperation anxiety? Is your furbaby solid in potty training or do they like to mark in the house? How often do they bark? I have a baby that needs to nap once a day. For bigger pups weighing more then 50lbs, what is you pups energy level? We’d like your loves to be happy here in our home and with family. Thank you for your time in reading this and your interest.

A typical day

What your pups day will look like with us is lots of cuddles and play at home. We have a open floor living space and kitchen with hardwood floors and area rugs. The rooms are gated off. We have a massive yard that is fenced in but has some low laying areas. We have blocked those areas off and havent had any issues with other pups. I love playing with the furbabies in the yard with toys playing tug-o-war and fetch to get energies out. Kona, my pup, and I, love making everyone go for a good run in the yard. Our yard is mostly paved with little patches of dirt and grass. Some days I take my daughter out in a stroller and take all pups for walk around the nieghborhood. We also like to keep the pups busy with treat puzzles.

I use to work as a full-time firefighter and part-time as an EMT on an 911 ambulance but I’ve hung up my boots after having our first baby. I’ve proudly become a stay at home mom. My husband works in medicine. Our daughter is a busy baby and loves to help and play with all the fur babies that stay with us.
