I have worked and lived with and around dogs my entire life. I work from home, we have one young shih-tzu of our own, and prefer to watch non-shedding dogs. We have two young children who are in daycare/school during weekdays and give dogs lots of attention when they are home. We have a mid-sized fenced yard to play in and if pups are home alone for a short time they are contained to the non-carpeted kitchen/dining area with toys, rugs, water, etc. We go for walks over lunch, to the park, or as needed. Pups sleep in fenced area/kennel for their comfort and safety. We practice commands with clicker training a few times/day with our pup and give lots of praise and attention for good behavior.
